Club Leagues

South East TREC Group maintains Summer and Beryl Hare Trophy Leagues for South East TREC members. Jo Boraston coordinates the Leagues.  Jo will try to pick up the points from the results on TREC GB and South East TREC, but if your score is missed, please email Jo on joboraston@hotmail.com with full details.

Summer League
These will be maintained for Levels 1-4 and for individuals and pairs.  To be eligible for this, you (and your pair) need be a member of SETG and one of you reside in the South East namely Kent, Surrey, Essex, Hampshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, Greater London, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Bucks, Beds and Herts.

Points will be allocated for 1st - 10th places for “TREC GB Affiliated TRECs”, “POR only” and “10/10” competitions and any unaffiliated full TREC competitions run in accordance with TREC GB rules. 10 points will be awarded for 1st place, 9 to 2nd place, going down to 1 point for 10th place. POR only and 10/10 competitions attract half points. The top 4 scores
count, and where there is an equality of points at the end of the season, the rider/pair who achieves a higher placing at the Championships will take precedence.

Final winners will receive fabulous prizes & rosettes, kindly donated by sponsors, presented at the South East TREC Group Awards dinner which is held in January/February each year.

Beryl Hare League
The Beryl Hare Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the horse and rider combination which gains the most points in a calendar year in South East TREC Group Arena TRECs and Versatile TREC competitions. Participants must be members of South East TREC Group and live in the South East namely Kent, Surrey, Essex, Hampshire, East Sussex, West Sussex, Greater London, Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Bucks, Beds and Herts.

The highest result from classes entered at each competition will count towards the League, one score per competition. 10 points will be awarded for 1st place, 9 to 2nd place, going down to 1 point for 10th place. Each competitor and horse combination's four best results will be included. In the event of equality in the League, further results will be included until there is a separation. The League will go down to 10th place.

Winners will receive rosettes and the overall winner will receive the Beryl Hare Trophy, to be awarded at the annual South East TREC Awards Dinner in January / February.  Jo Boraston will endeavour to include all the results for South East TREC members, but please do notify her on joboraston@hotmail.com of omissions and errors, as there are a lot of results to analyse!

Junior League
Our Junior League and trophy for Junior riders aged 5-18 years will be awarded to the horse and rider combination which gains the most points in a calendar year in Arena TRECs and Versatile TREC competitions.
