Meeting at Pluckley, Kent in the playground car park behind the Black Horse (currently not serving food, but open for refreshments)
We will provide a blank map of this area and suggested approx 4km route in an area not too dissimilar to Winwick. Copy your route, and head out to practice your navigation skills in small groups. For all levels, please let me know (using the Contact Us form, info@ email) what level you are intending to ride at so that I can provide suitable options & bring along enough copies.
Post walk refreshment in the pub optional. There will be some climb, aka contour practice, unless you opt for setting your own route. Bring your map marking kit and compass. Leg cover & walking boots advisable due to vegetation in places.
This is primarily aimed at riders heading to the championships, but open to all who want to explore the area and practice their navigation skills.
